Horry County is seeking qualified, licensed firm for RFQ # 2020-21-227 Civil Engineering Design Services For Cowford Swamp & Big Bull Landing Rd Roadway & Drainage Improvements. Project is South Carolina Office of Resilience Disaster Recovery Division Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Action Plan funded, contingent upon federal funding availability. All federal, state, and local terms and conditions are applicable, including the Brooks Act.

Renovation of four facilities to add cell fronts to a total of 96 cells and 24 storage rooms, add to the camera system if necessary, and upgrade the security controls systems. The cell front addition includes the design of a detention door with hardware and a transom screen designed to allow for transfer of sprinkler, ventilation, and lighting. Horry County Government is seeking Construciton Engioneering & Inspection Services from interested, qualified firms for RFQ 2019-20-052. This is a SCDOT LPA Funded project.

The project is to construct a 104 bed State Veterans Nursing Home located in Horry County.  Generally built following the VA's small house guidelines but modified to meet the States needs.  The facility will consist of four 26 bed neighborhoods around a community center.  The anticipated size of the building is around ~127,000 square feet.  The Home is to be located outside the evacuation zone but to be built to shelter in place standards.
