One new duplex self-priming pump station and one new duplex submersible pump station to replace two exisiting stations

Scope of work includes removal of the existing granite paver and waterproofing membrane system in area shown the drawings and all associated components down to the existing concrete deck for replacement with new waterproofing membrane system and all associated accessories. Re-installation of existing granite pavers is required.

The project, located in Charleston County, shall consist of installation of a decorative mast arm traffic signal at the intersection of Bees Ferry Road and Sanders Road. The work shall include, but is not limited to, traffic signal installation, traffic control, and erosion and sediment control. The project will be constructed utilizing the items listed on the bid tab form in the solicitation.

Base Bid work includes complete removal and replacement of the existing soffit system and accessories. ALT 1 work includes beehive strainers at all downspouts and clean out all gutters and downspouts to grade. Qualified Miniority Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit a bid.

Base bid for the replacement of approximately 264 LF of 15-inch RCP, 49 LF of 18-inch RCP, 24-inch RCP, and miscellaneuous appurtenances; installation of 154 LF of 12-inch HDPE pipe, 150 LF of 4-inch CPP or PVC underdrain, 3 junction boxes, 2 catch basins, associated rip rap and grading.  Alternate 1 consisting of sliplining 33 LF of existing 12-inch RCP with 10-inch fusible PVC. Alternate 2 consisting of removal and  replacement of 33LF of existing 12-inch RCP with HDPE pipe.
