The South Carolina Department of Administration, Division of Facilities Management and Property Services, in accordance with South Carolina Procurement Code, Section 11-35-1560 and regulation 19-445.2105, is providing public notice of the intent to award a sole source contract to Convergint Technologies, LLC, for a one (1) year term. The annual value of the contract is $150,000.00.

The Division of Facilities Management and Property Services intends to procure ongoing mechanical and technical support for the service and maintenance of the State House Capitol Complex Continuum Access Control Security System. This security system is currently in use in all buildings on the Capitol Complex as well as in the underground parking garage. All equipment and software that is currently in place in all building and the underground garage will be covered under this sole source contract. The current security system is a Schneider Electric proprietary system and Convergint Technologies, LLC is the only authorized representative trained and authorized to sell, install and support the Schneider Electric Continuum Access Control Security System.

The intent to award a sole source contract is made on the basis that Convergint Technologies, LLC., is the only vendor that is authorized to sell, install and support the Schneider Electric Continuum Access Control Security System, which is used in all building located on the State house Capitol Complex.
