The South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control (DHEC) intends to award a Sole Source contract valued at $900,000 to provide upgrade to the SC Vital Records and Statistics Integrated Information System (SC VRSIIS) from existing version 10 to the current version 19.  The VRSIIS system accommodates the legal registration, certification, fee collection and all other processes associated with the recording of vital events for the citizens of the State of South Carolina and was purchased competitively under contract 03-S5602-A9532 effective May 2003.  This system as installed at DHEC includes the following products:  WebEBC^TM (Birth), WebEDC^TM (Death), WebFee^TM (Fee), Web EFDC^TM (Fetal Death), and ITOP Modules.  These products are all developed, sold, and have been supported by Genesis Systems, Inc.
