In accordance with S.C. Code Ann. §11-35-1560 and S.C. Regulation 19-445.2105, Sole Source Procurement, the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) intends to award without competition, a contract for overtime and holiday pay for high-level security needs.  Allied Universal Security is the current contractor for these services and was originally awarded contract #4400027825 through competitive solicitation #5400022082.  This contract is estimated to have a total cost of approximately $100,000 and be for a term of one year. Allied Universal Security is the only option for maintaining outside armed and unarmed security guard services due to the extensive, high level security requirements needed by the agency and since a contract already exists, the agency is required to use them for all services except those listed. This will be an addition to the current contract adding overtime and holiday coverage. The addition is needed due to the current COVID Pandemic.
