Description of Project/Services:
The County of Greenville is seeking sealed proposals for CONSTRUCTION OF UNIT 4 CELL 4 EARTHWORK AT TWIN CHIMNEYS LANDFILL. Excavation of approximately 700,000 cy of material (soil and rock) is required for the future Unit 4 Cell 4 landfill cell. The excavated material is to be placed in on site stockpiles. This contract is to excavate the overburden soil in preparation for the liner construction. Unit 4 Cell 4 is adjacent to the active municipal solid waste landfill.
