Description of Project/Services:
Richland County is accepting electronic bids for the widening of Atlas Road (S-50) to a five-lane with a 4-foot bike lane, curb and gutter, and 5-foot sidewalk on both sides of the roadway from Shop Road to Garners Ferry Road. Shop Road, Veterans Road and Garners Ferry Road Intersections are also being improved with the addition of turn lanes. A new storm drainage system is proposed along both sides of Atlas Road with various closed-system crossings.
