Description of Project/Professional Services:
The selected Mechanical Engineer will provide design services for the following: Replacement of an outdated 300-ton chiller, cooling tower, and the associated equipment as required at the DPS/DMV Headquarters buildings. The replacement chiller should have the capacity to maintain the average cooling load on the facility as required. The new 300-ton chiller is the back-up chiller. It will provide supplemental cooling for peak loads and redundancy.
