Greenville County is seeking proposals for the Soil and Water Conservation District. Soil and Water maintains nine flood-control dams built under federal Public Law 566. The earthen dams and auxiliary spillways require mowing once a year and are located in the Huff Creek, Rabon Creek and South Tyger River watersheds. The dams range in size between 2.8 acres and 11.9 acres.
Note: Contractor's must park on Beaver Run Drive near the Watershed Dam #4C entrance. This will possibly be the starting point of the dam visits.
No questions are to be asked, site visit only. All questions are to be provided before the deadline through OpenGov. Please RSVP through OpenGov if you plan to attend the site visits.
