The Brookland Center for Community Economic Change ([BCCEC]; dba Brookland-Lakeview Empowerment Center [BLEC], a small nonprofit organization, invites auditors/firms to submit a proposal for the preparation of it yearly audited financial statements, related information and single audit for the 2023 year beginning with the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. The audited financial statement must be in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. 

All proposals must include: (1) Evidence of the auditor's qualifications to provide the above services for nonprofit organization; (2) Background and experience in auditing with nonprofits; (3) Names and qualfications of staff assigned to BCCEC audit; (4) Statement of the auditor understanding of the work to be performed, including tax and nonaudit services; (5) A detailed workplan, timelines and tasks to be carried out by auditors; and (6) Cost estimate for work to be completed. 

The Town of Harleyville is accepting proposals from qualified firms of CPAs to audit its financial statements for the FY 2023 (year ending 6/30/23) with the option to audit each of the three following fiscal years as well.
