Sand Hills State Forest is currently accepting bids for pinestraw stands for the purpose of raking and baling. There are approximately 2,161 acres available to be raked across 64 separate stands. Sale areas are located in Chesterfield County. An orange sign indicating Stand # and Acreage will be placed at a visible location for each stand.

Bidders are encouraged to inspect the sale area to determine the volume estimates and raking conditions. The SC Forestry Commission will not be responsible for areas that are overbid.
