TDC is selling 4 vehicles by sealed bid; opened and awarded to the highest bidder after 2:00pm on Nov 21st, 2022. Tie bids will be awarded to first bid received. Successful bidders will be contacted 48 hours to pay TDC to receive title to the vehicle. Once purchased, buyer must pick up the vehicle within 48 hours. If a person fails to pay within 48 hours, it goes to the next highest bidder. Payment must be in cash or certified check ONLY.

Bids must be in the form of one blended price per ton for all pine products. Bids will be opened Thursday, November 17th at 10 AM.

Sand Hills State Forest is currently accepting bids for pinestraw stands for the purpose of raking and baling. There are approximately 2,161 acres available to be raked across 64 separate stands. Sale areas are located in Chesterfield County. An orange sign indicating Stand # and Acreage will be placed at a visible location for each stand.

Bidders are encouraged to inspect the sale area to determine the volume estimates and raking conditions. The SC Forestry Commission will not be responsible for areas that are overbid.
