Sand Hills State Forest is currently accepting bids for approximately 3,200 tons of pine timber in Chesterfield County. This sale encompasses four (4) tracts across 116 acres. Sale areas will be designated as third-row harvest, or intermediate thinning, where removal trees are marked with blue paint. Bids will be accepted until Tuesday, May 16th at 10:00 AM. Bids must be in the form/format of one blended price per ton for all pine products.
