The state of South Carolina Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) is issuing a Notification of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program, CFDA #14.231, for the program year 2018. The period of performance is July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019. Eligibility requirements can be found at http://oeo.sc.gov/resources.html. Applicants must demonstrate programmatic and fiscal capacity and need within the Continuum of Care region.

OEO will hold an Applicant Conference at 10 a.m., April 26, 2018, at 4900 Broad River Road, Bldg. 3019, Columbia. Inquiries regarding this NOFA and the applicant conference must be addressed to ESG Program Manager Gregg McConkey (803-734-2454 or gregg.mcconkey@admin.sc.gov).

Applications, required supporting documentation and certifications must be submitted by 5 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018.

The Office of Small and Minority Business Contracting and Certification (SMBCC, formerly OSMBA) along with the South Carolina Procurement Procedures Committee will host its annual 2018 Trade Show: Bridging Opportunities. This event is designed to connect South Carolina small, minority businesses with state procurement agents.

 

This event will allow small businesses to showcase their products and services, cultivate new relationships, and interact with community partners and corporate sponsors. Make plans now to attend and take part in panel discussions and networking opportunities.

 

Registration is $30 for SMBCC certified vendors and $40 for all others. This registration fee includes booth rental and lunch.
