The SC Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services (SCDPPPS) is seeking information on potential vendors capable of assisting in the collection of funds owed to the agency by offenders under SCDPPPS’ jurisdiction. SCDPPPS currently oversees over 73,000 offenders of which approximately 43,000 owe fees to the agency. SCDPPPS currently collects approximately five million dollars annually in cash and money orders at our local county offices. SCDPPPS is seeking a contractor capable of allowing offenders additional locations within the community to make these payments such as at local common business locations.

SCDOT will hold an open-forum meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, with prospective proposers to discuss future plans and upcoming work in 2024 for the Carolina Crossroads I-20/26/126 Corridor Improvement Project in Lexington and Richland Counties. The purpose of this meeting will be to collect information on the industry’s interest in the project and to improve the design-build industry’s understanding of the rephased project requirements. The open-forum meeting will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel located at 2100 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210. The South Carolina Commission for the Blind, in accordance with South Carolina Procurement Code,
Section 11-35-1550 is providing public notice of the intent to award a contract to A&M Equipment
Sales. The value of the contract is $55,292.00.
The purpose of this procurement is to replace old and outdated vending machines at multiple
locations. The purchase will include three AMS Outdoor machines (Black), one AMS 35 4 wide, two
AMS 39 (5 wide) snack machines, and two AMS 39 food machines.
The intent to award is made on the basis that A&M Equipment Sales provided the lowest responsive
and responsible offer.
