To accommodate student growth within the District, the Fort Mill School District purchased a modular building to house classrooms for the 2023-2024 school year. Due to the short time frame to prepare the building to be ready by the start of school in August 2023, the District has entered into an Emergency contract with Lake Electric to install electrical panels in the modular building.
To meet the growth of the District, Fort Mill Schools is installing a modular building. In order to have installation done prior to the start of school, an Emergency Procurement contract is being awarded to CNT Foundations to install 72 grouted helical piles as part of the foundation for the modular building.

The South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control (DHEC) intends to award a Sole Source contract valued at $99,521 to Genesis Systems, Inc. for changes to the Vital Records software system that will allow for birth certificates for babies born through a gestational carrier to be filed in accordance with new State Regulations. The SC Vital Records and Statistics Integrated Information System (SC VRSIIS). The VRSIIS system accommodates the legal registration, certification, fee collection and all other processes associated with the recording of vital events for the citizens of the State of South Carolina. The VRSIIS was originally purchased competitively for DHEC use in 2003 (solicitation 03-S5602-A9532) and was upgraded in 2020. The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) intends to award a Sole Source contract for a one-year service plan coverage for two Waters High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) systems, Carbamate System, Triple Quad Detector Mass Spectrometer system (LC/M S/MS), and unlimited technical support, at an estimated cost of $56,433.20 to Waters Technologies Corporation. Service plan coverage is to include on-site performance maintenance by a factory-trained service engineer, whose informatics and chemistry is only available to Waters service engineers, and Waters Quality Parts replacement as needed for corrective maintenance and repair, while maintaining the standard level of performance as stated in the operational manual provided with the original equipment. Micro Focus, Now OpenText,(which includes Serena as a subsidiary) is the only company to provide annual support and services for the ChangeMan applications. The sole source is to add an application to our existing license of ChangeMan, which is why it is they are the only company that can be used for this work. OpenText has the sole and exclusive right to the software and have it's subsidiary Serena Software perform this work.

The Department of General Internal Medicine is requesting to purchase diabetes supplies from Fora Care Inc. The requested supplies is for an on-going research project-TACM-2 Telehealth-- for diabetics in the rural South Carolina areas. Any deviation from this product/monitoring service would cause extreme disruption to our remote patient monitoring intervention which encompasses multiple geographic areas in South Carolina. The purpose of this research program is to help low income patients achieve and maintain better self-management skills and improve blood sugar levels, using the FORA 2-in-1 Telehealth system for diabetes management intervention. This achieve by linking a case manager to patients with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes in real time. Medications are titrated under supervision of primary care and/or endocrinology physicians.
