Lancaster County intends to build a new evidence storage building at the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Complex. The County will need professional Architectural services to ensure the renovation maximizes return by including as many of the Sheriff’s needs as possible within the project budget.
Design approx. 4.08 acres of property surrounding the B & C Center for Marine and Wetlands Study Building for building employees and student parking. Design also includes a large concrete area for campus bus parking and storage.
Design to relocate approx. 2,100 ft of the western end of University Blvd. southward towards Hwy 544. Coordination with local municipalities will be required in order to relocate utilities.

The selected Mechanical Engineer will provide design services for the following: Replacement of an outdated 530-ton chiller, cooling tower, and associated pumps at the DPS/DMV Headquarters buildings. The replacement chiller should have the capacity to maintain the average cooling load on the 300,000 sq. ft. facility. The two existing 300-ton chillers, which have been the sole source of cooling for many years, will provide supplemental cooling for peak loads and redundancy.
