SCSU invites qualified professional & A/E firms to submit proposals for providing professional architectural and engineering services for the design and construction for renovating Truth Hall. Truth Hall is a 14-story structure, which presently has 400 beds, fitness center, laundry mat, and restaurant area; constructed in 1972. Florence School District 3 seeks submittals from engineering firms licensed in SC to provide engineering services for a proposed HVAC Equipment Upgrades. Engineering Scope of Services includes, but is not limited to: determine appropriate equipment to be installed, prepare necessary plans & specifications, submit documents to the Office of School Facilities, prepare complete bid package, supervise installation and provide guidance during project.

Our goal is creating a space for public art; both inside the chapel and on the grounds. As such, the City is seeking architectural services to better understand the cost of a potential project as well as assisting the vision of what the chapel can and should be to maximize its public benefit. The architect is also expected to help select a general contractor to perform the work and also administer that construction project.
