Clemson University is soliciting qualification proposals for a study on two data centers to validate current power capacity, generation, and distribution, cooling, configuration, etc. opportunities and challenges, assess the impacts of continued growth in research on existing infrastructure, and developing a lifecycle replacement plan for these two data centers, factoring in proposed impacts from growth in HPC.
The project will renovate an existing two-story building (41,000 sq ft total) for the purpose of offices and classrooms/training. The renovations will ensure code compliance of the facility and fulfill the mission of SBTCE.
This project will replace the existing Eaton 9315 UPS #1 system with a new lithium-ion arrangement consisting of three, 200kw modules, and a new maintenance bypass cabinet. The scope also includes replacement of the existing Liebert mechanical units “L1” and “L2” required to supply adequate cooling to the sixth floor UPS room. Electrical and mechanical engineering professional services are required.
This project will consist of replacing approximately 220’ linear feet of 10” Ductile Iron water main and 8” force main. The replacement is on a 210’ bridge on the North Causeway. The replacement includes the removal of all existing pipes and appurtenances. All bridge hangers and straps will be relocated. The hangers and straps will be reused and replaced as needed.

Architectural Services (Phase I and Phase II as defined by the Office of the State Engineer Manual for Planning and Execution of State Permanent Improvements) to correct patient bathroom ligature issues in 3 patient lodges at Harris Psychiatric Hospital, Anderson SC.
