The replacement of the Influent Screening Equipment and Structure to a position prior to the Influent Pump Station, the Construction of a replacement Grit Removal System, and the replacement of the Chlorine Contact Chamber; doubling its capacity.

Interior renovation of existing (@9,000sf) gymnasium), including demolition and replacement of existing sports flooring, construction of (and limited finishes) new office and storage spaces w/ in the existing interior footprint, lighting fixture replacement, new fire alarm system and addition/replacement of wall padding system, etc. Small and Minority Business Participation is highly encouraged.

This project consists of the relocation of sanitary sewer main services into the street right-of-way. Approximately 2,600 LF of 8” PVC sewer main will be installed by open cut. The scope includes approximately 400 LF of 12” PVC sanitary sewer main open cut installation as well. Nearly seventy 6” sewer laterals will be constructed from the right-of-way to the sewer main. 

MetroConnects is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for Debris Removal & Disposal Services. This solicitation will result in the selection of a firm(s) to remove & lawfully dispose of disaster-generated debris from MetroConnects right-of-ways and under limited conditions, private properties and private accesses after hurricane Helene.

The purpose of this RFQ is to seek statement of qualifications from water/wastewater engineering consultants for the purposes of selecting a short-list of highly qualified firms to conduct a condition assessment for the City’s wastewater treatment plant and sewer pump lift stations.
