The City of Georgetown is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed installers to provide and install a safer, user-friendly surface at the Ben Cooper Park Splash Pad, located at 2125 Prince Street. The surface must be slip-resistant, fall-protective, UV-stabilized, and resistant to chemicals for easier cleaning, while also enhancing the water play areas with a nautical aquatic theme (e.g., fish, octopuses, sharks).
The Project consists of the construction of a new 1,725 square-foot train depot museum and event space with an attached 1,490 square-foot open-air covered patio for the new home of the Greenwood Railroad Museum.
