The Linksbrook Crossline Replacement project was prompted by recurring sinkholes through the Linksbrook Subdivision located off of Prince Creek Parkway in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Contractor shall replace existing eqiupment for 6 corridor sliding devices, 128 cell sliding devices with new Detention Electro-Mechanical sliding devices, 10 pneumatic swing door and eight 8 swing gate devices with new Detention Electro-Mechanical devices and the Security Electronics and Controls and replace existing intercom stations and wiring on thirteen (13) entry/exit doors and 4 circulation doors. Contractor will supply and install 128 food pass kits on cell doors.

The woprk to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to construct 2,748 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer and associated manholes. Project is being funded by a Community Development Block Grant.
Project consists of the installation of approximately 15,600 LF of 36” Water Main, 5,160 LF of 30” water main, 880 LF of 24” water main, miscellaneous connections and appurtenances by open cut and bore and jack installations. Additional project details to include major surface restoration to include road resurfacing and paving.
Funding through the State Revolving Fund in South Carolina will be used to fund all or part of this project. The project will be subject to Federal contracting requirements associated with the funding. This project will also have Davis Bacon and American Iron and Steel requirements.
