This project is composed of the demolition of a portion of, and construction of a portion of, two Spartanburg County owned roads that currently intersect with SC-296 (Reidville Road). One Road on the North side (S. Hammett Road) and one road on the South side (Lightwood Knot Road).

The mill and resurface of parking lot and roads at the SC Governors School for the Arts and Humanities, as well as the addition of new sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, ADA ramps and painting new parking stripes and traffic markings, design and installation of new irrigation system, installation of landscape plantings and appurtenant construction activities.

Lighting upgrades to the Regional Training Institute Building 3800 (with the exception of Areas F-1, F-2 & G, which are to be included as an alternate) to include replacement of existing, outdated lighting systems with new, energy efficient LED lighting. Saxon St Water Treatment Plant Building Re-purpose

Replacement of four air handling units (A-1, B-1, F-1 and F-2), and matching condensing units (CU-A-1, CU-B-1, CU-F-1 and CU-F-2) with new units. Project includes 3 alternates.

Installation of approximately 500 LF of 12” HDPE gravity sewer main via pipe burst and open cut methods.  Installation of one dog-house manhole, replacement of two brick manholes and rehabilitation of one existing manhole.  Installation of one pre-cast concrete pier.  Bypass pumping will be required.

Colleton County requests bids from qualified, licensed contractors for the renovation of the Magistrates Building located at 40 Klein Street, Walterboro, SC 29488. Construction consists of a restroom upgrade, new LED lighting, new hallway & door and upgraded finishes.
