The Town of Lexington will be accepting sealed bids for the rehabilitation to the Corley Tract pump station including removal and replacement of duplex submersible pumps, bases (provided by Owner), guide rails, epoxy coating of the wet well, new control panel, electrical modifications, and other miscellaneous and related items. Aiken County Government is soliciting sealed Request for Qualifications from qualified general contractors, properly licensed under the laws of the State of South Carolina, for the expansion of the Aiken County Detention Center. RFQ’s will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. November 8, 2022 in the Aiken County Procurement Office, 1930 University Pkwy, Suite 3201, Aiken, SC 29801 then read aloud in Suite #3203. Replacement of existing operable and fixed metal select windows and doors, with new ballistic rated metal windows, frames and doors to match original historical profiles. Limestone repairs and repointing, the installation of new PVC cladded metal gutter liner, new external downspouts, and the repair to the existing thermoplastic roof membrane as necessary for the installation of the new fall protection anchors.

The work generally consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 78,150 SF of slate roofing assembly, preparations to the existing plywood deck and installation of new underlayment, synthetic slate roofing assembly, and metal flashings as specified; as well as removal and replacement of appx. 4,800 SF of EPDM roofing assembly, preparations to the existing metal deck and installation of new rigid insulation, TPO membrane and TPO and metal flashings as specified.
